The Bees struggled offensively and somewhat defensively against Cicero-North Syracuse and lost the road game, 4-2.

There were few highlights from the Bees' side. In the first inning, Josh Leonard singled and Aiden Milburn walked. With two outs, senior Gavin Miller drove a ball to deep right, doubling and driving in both Leonard and Milburn to get the game started.

But those were about the only positives for Baldwinsville on Thursday afternoon, as the Bees made some mental mistakes and a physical error to allow some runs to score and the ball didn't bounce the Bees' way on this day.

The Bees collected five hits: Miller had a double and Leonard, Jacob Penafeather, Braden Seeber, and Nico Wellman all had singles, which were spread out, so they didn't produce additional runs.

Milburn got the loss on the afternoon, giving up four runs, three of them earned. He had seven strikeouts and three walks.

CNS only had one more hit but they were in productive situations and yielded runs.

The Bees moved to 4-1 on the season and next play Saturday morning against Syracuse.
