In a somewhat sloppy game, the Baldwinsville baseball team fell to number 1 seed Liverpool, 7-3, on Thursday night in a sectional semifinal game at OCC.
The Bees struggled to generate offense through most of the game, gathering only two hits through the first six innings, scoring only one run on an error and wild pitch.
Liverpool built up a 7-1 lead through six on only three earned runs off starting pitcher Cameron Morrissey.
The Bees tacked on two runs in the top of the seventh, as Cam Williams reached on an error, Jarrod Williams singled, and with two outs, Frank Levanti doubled to deep left to bring home two runs, accounting for the final score of 7-3.
Zach Bush, Alex Robinson, Williams, and Levanti each had hits for visiting Baldwinsville.
The team finished at .500, 11-11, for the year, although it notched some big wins throughout the season.
Thursday night's game was the final high school game for the following Baldwinsville seniors: (in order in picture below) Ryan Carson, Nate Valentine, Tommy McKee, Cameron Morrissey, Anthony May, David Cerqua, Carson Hayes, Alex Robinson, Jarrod Williams, and Zach Bush.
