The Baldwinsville baseball team took advantage of several free passes from the Wildcats and a timely offense to down West Genesee, 13-8, on the road Tuesday afternoon.

B'ville struck first in their opening at-bats, as Zach Bush reached after being hit by a pitch, Anthony May reached on a walk, and both then stole second and third.  With one out, Cam Williams grounded out to bring home Bush.

The Bees poured it on in the second inning.  With one out, Frank Levanti reached on an error, David Cerqua and Tommy McKee walked, and Bush singled to bring home Levanti.  May then walked to force home another run, as Cerqua crossed the plate.  Carson Hayes was then hit by a pitch, which brought home McKee.  C. Williams followed that with a single to left center which scored Bush and May.  B'ville led 7-0.

In the top of the fourth, McKee was hit by a pitch and advanced to second on a wild pitch.  With one out, May singled home McKee.  Then, with two outs, C. Williams singled home May and promptly stole two bases.  Alex Robinson finished the scoring for the inning by singling home C. Williams.  B'ville's lead extended to 10-0.

Meanwhile, starting pitcher Jason Savacool kept the Wildcats at bay for four innings, not allowing a run and giving up only one hit.

In the bottom of the fifth, however, West Genesee put together some offense and touched Savacool for five runs on five hits, making the score 10-5.

After B'ville failed to score in the top of the sixth inning, Savacool was able to retire the Wildcats in order  in the bottom frame with two strikeouts to stop the Wildcats' momentum.

The Bees added insurance runs in the seventh inning. Cerqua walked, and with one out, Bush and May also walked to load the bases.  Hayes then stroked a single to right center to score Cerqua and Bush, while Cam Williams singled to bring home May.

Cam Morrissey entered the game in the bottom of the seventh to finish off the Wildcats, without allowing a score.  The Bees won the game 13-5.
