The Baldwinsville Bees baseball team only recorded two hits in a 7-1 loss at West Genesee on Thursday afternoon.
Starting pitcher Jack Andres yielded only one unearned run through the first four innings, before the Wildcats exploded for six runs in the fifth inning on five hits and two errors. Only four of the runs were earned.
Cam Williams and Frank Levanti produced the only hits in the game.
Ryan Carson relieved for 2/3 of an inning in the fifth and gave up one unearned run on two hits and an error. Casey Collins entered the game in the sixth inning and retired the Wildcats in order.
The Bees next play on Friday, at Syracuse's Van Duyn field, at 4:30 p.m.
