The offensive stat line didn't look much different from yesterday: four hits. But, B'ville's offensive production was light years ahead of what it was yesterday. Despite getting only four hits, Baldwinsville batters continued to rope baseballs--only they kept hitting them at West Genesee fielders.
But Cam Morrissey ensured that the Bees would get the win at home, as he had his best outing of the year-- a complete game, three-hit shutout, as Baldwinsville prevailed 1-0.
A run in the second inning on a Jarrod Williams double and an Alex Robinson single would give Morrissey all the margin he would need.
Morrissey finished with two strikeouts, as he continued to force Wildcat batters to produce weakly hit balls. Two of the three hits were infield hits and the third was a grounder through short and third in the seventh inning.
A strong defense also helped Morrissey as the Bees played its first error-free game of the year.
Anthony May finished with two hits in the game.
