In its final league game of the season, the Baldwinsville Bees turned away the Fayetteville-Manlius Hornets, 5-3, on Friday afternoon on its home field.

The Bees started the scoring in the second inning on consecutive singles by Alex Robinson, Cam Williams, and Jarrod Williams, the last of which scored Robinson.  The Bees took a 1-0 lead.

After F-M took a 2-1 lead on starter Cody Kaestle on three hits in the inning, the Bees responded in the bottom of the third.

Zach Bush was hit by a pitch and, with one out, Anthony May singled.  Billy Clifford roped a double to score both Bush and May.  Robinson reached on an error and Cam Williams followed with a sacrifice fly to center field to score Clifford.  Jarrod Williams singled again to bring in Robinson.  Baldwinsville held a 5-2 lead.

F-M added one more run in the fifth inning but never threatened again, as Kaestle finished the game while giving up six hits total.

Baldwinsville was paced by Cam Williams and Jarrod Williams who both had two hits in the game.  May, Clifford, and Robinson each had one hit.

The Bees play tomorrow against Corning-Painted Post on Senior Day.
